AREC 2017 ACT, Tas, WA – What happens next?
For ACT Agents
Thanks for purchasing your certification for the Elective CPD points available to ACT agents for AREC 2017. Once we have verified your attendance your certificate will be issued to you via email.
This will give you four (4) elective points required under ACT legislation.
Your additional 8 points will need to be accrued by completing a Unit of Competence from one of the approved national training packages applicable to property services in the ACT. This can be done through our partner RTO (MRT Training) or one of the other RTOs approved to deliver in the ACT.
If you also require NSW CPD Points, you will need to apply for them, separately to the ACT points, but usually you will need to complete an assessment to give you the full 12 points required under the NSW laws. You can apply for points for AREC 2017 by purchasing this assessment or by completing any of the online courses listed here.
For WA Agents
Thanks for purchasing your certification for elective WA CPD points.
The Department of Commerce have approved AREC2017 for 6.5 of the 7 required elective points under WA legislation – from Category 2 of the Guidelines. We applied for the full 7 points, but the event was not approved for the full allocation “due to insufficient consumer protection content”.
Once we have verified your attendance at the event your certificate will be issued to you via email.
We will also upload the notification of your attendance to the WA Department of Commerce on their website.
For Tas and NZ Agents
Thanks for purchasing your certification for non-verifiable CPD points.
A certificate will be issued to you via email, once we have verified your attendance at the event with the organisers.
